Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Road To DSE mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who We Are

The Service is operated by RoadToDSE (“we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with parental or guardian consent.

3. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Community and Forum Content

The Service includes public forums. Content you post (including your username) may be visible to other users. Do not post sensitive personal information. You are solely responsible for your content and must not post content that is illegal, abusive, or infringes others’ rights.

5. Study Data, Rankings, and Accuracy

The Service provides study analytics, rankings, and insights. These are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or any particular outcome.

6. Paid Features and Subscriptions

If the Service offers paid features, payments are handled by the platform provider (e.g., Apple). All billing, refunds, and subscription management are subject to the platform’s terms.

7. Acceptable Use

• Do not misuse the Service or attempt to access it unlawfully.
• Do not interfere with or disrupt the Service.
• Do not use the Service to harass or harm others.

8. Intellectual Property

We retain all rights in the Service and its content, except for content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use your content to operate the Service.

9. Third-Party Services

Version 1.5.0 and later use Supabase for accounts and data storage, Apple or Google for the corresponding sign-in options, and Resend for account emails. Earlier versions use Apple iCloud/CloudKit, which also helps verify ownership when moving an older profile to a Road To DSE account. App Store purchases continue to use Apple's services. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RoadToDSE is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or if required for security or legal reasons.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice within the app or on our website.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. If you are a consumer located in the United States or the EU/EEA, mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction may also apply.
